The room was extremely homely and comfortable, providing a nice alternative to the generic hotel feel. However, it was located above the main entrance of a pub, which led to disturbances from outside noise. The bed was very nice and comfortable with excellent facilities.

The rooms are extremely homely and comfortable, much nicer than the generic hotel feel. However, noise from other guests, opening and closing doors, and outside smoking areas could be heard, affecting the overall tranquility of the room.

The service was very friendly and helpful, although there is room for improvement in such a non-budget establishment. The late noisy glass waste disposal at 11 pm was disruptive.

The location was perfect for me, being located down beautiful country lanes, albeit no sidewalks due to busy roads. Good cleanliness and service were maintained overall. The proximity to motorways southwest of Birmingham made it convenient for travelers.

The dining experience was the only disappointment during the stay. Although rushed, it was saved by the incorporated breakfast in the room rate. The granola was a highlight.

The facilities were excellent, with a fabulous bathroom area available. However, the noise from the outside pub area could be heard in the room, affecting the overall experience.

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, however, the room felt a bit empty though it was spacious and had a nice bathroom. The service was friendly but had some early morning noise disturbances. The location was convenient for my meetings with a cozy dining area, and the food was delicious. The fresh dishes showed quality, but the dining start time was a bit late. Overall, a nice place with room for improvement.
